| About Me | I went to Spokane Falls for a couple of years before going to EWU. I received my Bachelors in Music in 1994 and married my husband, Tim, the same year. I played horn in the Walla Walla Symphony and the Mid Columbia Symphony for a couple of years as well as some freelance work for a few years before returning for my Masters in Music in 1998. I graduated with my Masters Degree in 2000 as well as having the unfortunate experience of several intestinal surgeries at that time (but I'm feeling much better now :) ). I also played in the worship ministry at Faith Bible Church in Spokane from 1995-2008. I also joined the Spokane British Brass Band in 2000 and I am continuing to play cornet for them. I went to a national competition with the brass band in Little Rock Arkansas in 2003 in which we placed 4th and Chicago, Illinois in 2005 in which we placed 3rd. I also had th opportunity to play an E flat tenor horn in the solo and ensemble section of both competitions. I currently play horn with the Coeur d' Alene Symphony Orchestra (since 2005) Somewhere down the line I realized how tough it was to be a professional musician, so I went to work with my husband, father-in-law and brother-in-law in a small Internet Marketing business in 2006 and continue to work there as a content ...(read more) |
