Keith PAYNE Obituary
PAYNE, Keith
(Age 55)
Keith Payne passed away January 25, 2017 in Spokane surrounded by his family after a long illness. Keith was born October 10, 1961 in Moscow, ID to Dick and Roberta Payne. He grew up in the Spokane Valley and was a proud Central Valley Bear. He loved baseball which he played from a young age and into college, and continued playing recreation softball for many years. Friends described him as a "loyal, kick-ass friend and buddy." Keith was also a great husband and doting dad who loved spending time with his kids, playing and watching sports. He retired from UPS after 20 years of service. Keith is survived by his loving wife of 28 years, Kathy, daughters Madison and Mallory, parents, sister Julie Atnip (Aaron) of Hillsboro, OR, and many other relatives and friends. The family extends their sincere appreciation to all staff and caregivers at Sunshine Gardens for the love, care, and compassion given to Keith and his family. A celebration of Keith's life will be held at St. Mary's Catholic School (304 S. Adams) on Saturday, February 18 at 1 pm. In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made to the Boys and Girls Club of Spokane County, 544 E. Providence Ave., Spokane, WA 99207 or online (www.bgcspokanecounty.org/donate/).
