When Carolyn started school in 1940 at the age of 5, there was another Carolyn in the class. The teachere said that they would call her :Carrie" then. Her mother said, "that is not her name, so call her by her middle name, Yvonne. So, from age 5 she was known as Yvonne. However, when medicare kicked in on her 65th birthday, she again became known as Carolyn by the medical professionals.
