| About Me | I still miss NYC and the Delis of Long Island --home of the best chicken and potato salad. Had so many good times there--job at Roosevelt Hospital, first true independence, first apartment (NYC), seeing concerts at Carnegie Hall, Bloomingdales Card, first trip to Europe, first lots of things. Missed many dear friends when I left. Dad had died suddenly, so Sister Judy & I had a long adventure driving cross country in a VW van named Vernon. Brought up on Long Island, New York; lived in NYC for several years and then moved to CA--near San Francisco. Went back to College & got a BA in English and Masters in Mass Communications. Enjoyed a number of professional endeavors. Went to France 3 times--on my own. Solo travel is a great way to go.
