About Me	Graduated with BA in philosophy from Louisiana College (1962: Magna Cum Laude; Graduated with BD in Theology from New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary (1965); Completed all course work, took and passed Preliminary Exams, submitted and had accepted my dissertation prospectus by 1969; received my MA in philosophy from Vanderbilt Unviersity in 1969; took my first full-time teaching position at The College of Charleston in Charleston, SC in June 1969; established and built from the ground up the first philosophy program at The College of Charleston (C of C): 1969 - 1974; received my Ph.D. in philosopy from Vanderbilt in 1974; was promoted to Associate Professor and tenured at The College of Charleston in 1974; established the first Religious Studies program at C of C; retired from teaching at C of C in 1995.
