| About Me | I retired from the Walter Reed Army Institute of Research, as a Medical Entomologist, after 31 years of government service. While working there I did arthropod vector studies in various places in the US, Central America, South America, Africa, India and Cambodia. I also travel a lot for SCUBA diving, most recently in the Philippines. I’m still actively working with Kala Azar in northern India and with the Army Education Outreach Program where we work with underserved middle and high school students on Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics.
