About Me	I completed my nursing degree, working first in Intensive Care newborns, then moved into Public Health nursing working with alcoholics. I worked on a grant with the mental health center in the area and have stayed in the Mental Health field for 31 years. I am currently the Morgan County Director of the MH Center in Northeast Colorado. I married in 1972 to John LaPorte who is a News Editor for the Ft. Morgan Times and we have to sons, Chris, 31 and Ryan 26. They both live in Ft. Morgan, neither are currently married. Chris has a 7 year old daughter.
