20 years in the Army in a variety of assignments such as Fort Hood Texas; Monterey California; Munich Germany; Fort Huachuca Arizona; Frankfurt Germany; Florida; and Fort Monmouth New Jersey. Retirement from the Army in 1996 with 20 years military service as a Master Sergeant/E-8. During her military service, she received a number of awards and commendations, to include the Legion of Merit award at retirement.
