I joined the US Army out of Newark in May 1972. I spent the next 26 years traveling throughout the world as a Soldier. I was even lucky enough to have spent a tour right at home working at the Federal Building in downtown Newark. My career allowed me time to travel, obtain my BS degree in Management and Human Resources. I came into the Army as a Private and finished my career as Sergeant Major -the highest enlisted rank. I am blessed to have two great sons, who have grown into good men. I am the proud Grandpa of three. I write my story because I have always been proud of my city and my school. It's good seeing the new school. Never thought we would leave High Street. Go BLUE DEVILS.
