Henry McIntosh from the class of '62 was named the Colorado Teacher of the Year for the state of Colorado in 2004. He was teaching at John Mall High School during that year. In addition to receiving the award, Mr. McIntosh was involved in numerous speaking engagements during that year. He also was selected by the American Council for International Education as an exchange teacher to the country of Azerbaijan. During his three weeks in Azerbaijan, he conducted a number of inservices for English teachers in the country. His activities also involved visiting a number of schools and meeting with education officials.
