John was a friend of mine for many years, long after high school. He was a kind sole and often helped me out with my many projects over the years. John spent most of his work life at the G.M. plant in Fremont even after Toyota took over. I was saddened after not seeing him for several years when he stopped buy my parents house in May of 2015 while I was there to wish my mother a happy birthday and saw how he had suffered for some time with no positive prognosis for the future. Sadly, John joined friend's Dean Reiersgaard, Brad Marshall, Bob Bell and many others later that year in November.
