About	So just found out today that you, one of my best buddies in high school, killed yourself last spring. Kind of heavy on the soul at the moment. I tried to disappear into Seattle so no one knew where I am but than again no one knew how to get ahold of me if they needed to either. The last time we met was at the 49'rs in our old home town. You were doing well then. Now you're ashes and I'm another one left. Not much to say... I wasn't around when you needed someone to talk to. I remember my father giving us rides to town because you totaled the VW and I totaled the motorcycle.. "we lived a few miles out from a town of 1,200 residents". You and I hanging out in the middle of the night, nothing but our futures ahead. I remember the leather jacket I wore for years after that I bought off you for $75 in 1988. I remember the stuipid stuff we watched in our town and also the beautiful scenes we were witness to at the same moment. We lived after other friends died and continued to exist in a world we weren't prepared for. Most of all, I remember a soul who would give his every bit of energy and belonging to someone in need even after God wrote them off. To my friend Jerome. See you on the other side. Alex
