| About Me | Although I was born and grew up in Detroit, MI, I fell in love with the Island of Oahu in the State of Hawaii where I lived there with my late Navy submarine husband for 19 years. I am now living back to Hawaii in time for Thanksgiving 2011. I'm a creative problem solving consultant who discovered I had to attend seminary in my 50s. I now serve at First African Baptist Church the oldest Black congregation in North America in the oldest brick building built by enslaved Africans for enslaved Africans.
