Born Dec. 25, 1947, he was the son of Augusts "Gus" Hafley and Lena Sharp Hafley Taylor. He is survived by his wife of 41 years, Comella Scott Hafley, daughter Leann (Chad) Renner of Stanford. One granddaughter Libby Renner. Burial is in Camp Nelson National Cemetery with military honors.
