| About Me | I have become very active in Avalon life. I am a past President of the Catalina Art Association and produced five Catalina Art Festivals. I was Chairman of the Catalina Island Medical Center Board for six years and left the Board when I was elected to the Avalon City Council in April 2006. I am currently Mayor Pro Tem of the City and my term ends in April 2014. I represent my City at the Gateway Cities Council of Governments and also sit on the Tax and Revenue and Community Services Policy Committees of the League of California Cities. I am also Chairman of CHOICES a local organization helping local youth make the right choices in regards to drug and alcohol use. Up until this year I was the 5th grade Religious Ed teacher at St. Catherine's Catholic Church and I am currently a Lecture and Cantor at Mass.
