About	McCune Cementery McCune, KS David E. Finley, 44, of Parsons, died at 10:23 a.m., Sunday, September 9, 2012, at the University of Kansas Medical Center in Kansas City, Kansas. He was born June 20, 1968, in Alhambra, California, to Holger Duane and Sharon Lee (Call) Finley. He was a graduate of Casa Roble High School in Orangevale, California, and also attended college while living in California. He also served in the Oklahoma Tulsa Mission two years for the LDS Church. On December 30, 1993, he and Crystal Daniels were married in Salt Lake City, Utah. Following marriage, they lived in the Sacramento area before moving to Parsons in 1998. He had worked various jobs while living in Parsons including Dayton Superior until his health failed. He was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. He enjoyed coin and stamp collecting, writing poetry and drawing. He loved all kinds of music, playing basketball and visiting the ocean. He especially enjoyed spending time with his children and being involved in their activities. Survivors include: wife, Crystal Finley of the home, Parsons, KS; four sons, Jayce, Derek, Baxter and David W. Finley of the home; one daughter, Heather Finley of the home; father, Duane Finley UT; three brothers, Paul Finley UT, Mike Finley TX, Steven Finley UT; one sister, Jenny Madsen UT. He was preceded in death by his mother and one sister, Valinda Finley.
