I had German with Mrs. tomes. I was terrible ar German. I was always drawing cartoons on my test papers. Quite often the subject matter was the German military during WWII. Mrs Tomes would give me two grades on my paper. A “C” for my test normally but she would also give me an “A” for my artwork. She was very kind and patient.
