Margaret Catherine Corcoran Fischer was born in Sacramento, California, on July 23, 1927, and died September 3, 2013. She is survived by her sister Virginia North; stepson Jerry Fischer; daughter Mary Fischer Mosqueda; son Carl Fischer; six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Margaret was an artist and musician, and played the trumpet with the River City Band until strokes damaged her vision. She was a dedicated teacher of music and drama at Casa Roble High School for 20 years.
A "Celebration of Life" memorial service will be held, Saturday, October 26, 2013, 10:00 am, at Divine Savior Church, 9079 Greenback Lane, Orangevale, California, 95662. The family requests no flowers. Please make any donations to your favorite music or drama group in memory of Margaret C. Fischer.
