About	DeVRIEND, Steven J. Born September 28, 1952 in Seattle, WA, died July 31, 2007 in Fair Oaks, CA. Steve was an accomplished artist in both his trade as a concrete mason and with acrylic and oil paints, but his greatest art was in the love he showed to his family and friends. For Steve, the distinction between family and friend was not of blood but of love, and he loved and was loved by many. He leaves behind the love of his life, his devoted wife, Helen; his beautiful daughters and their partners, Stephanie (Bill) Kruger, Cindy Smith (Brian Yates) and Stacy (Vince) Lentini; his grandchildren, Matthew, Jacob, Jonathon, Kevin, Ashara, Dylan, Lorenzo and Shelby; as well as his parents, Don and Lois DeVriend; brother, Dan (Heidi) DeVriend; and sisters, Sherry Hunt and Sam (Jeff) Goin. His niece, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins will miss his humor and laughter. Graveside services will be held at the Fair Oaks Cemetery Tuesday, August 7 at 10:00am directed by Russ Monroe's Funeral Home, 916-961-1265.
