After a long courageous battle of Leukemia and the side effects that followed, Pat passed away peacefully in the comfort of his own home with his family by his side.
Survived by his mother Roberta Sampson; stepmother Tricia Linn; sister Bobbi McCoy; children Joie Linn-Tollestrup, Ray Linn, Sarah Linn, and Randi Linn; and grandchildren Josh and Joe Tollestrup, Seth Linn, and Zoey and Mika Kane. He is now reunited with his deceased father Jack Linn, stepfather Don Sampson, younger brother John Linn and mother of his children Helen Linn.
He was an extremely talented Heavy Equipment Operator and a kick-ass nationally recognized Speedway Rider for many years - known as #97 "Lover Boy" Linn, he was an all-around fun guy! He touched many hearts and will be greatly missed by his many friends, family and fans. Donations may be made to the Ronald McDonald House and St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. A memorial will be held on Saturday, July 21, 2018 at the Mt. Vernon Grange Hall, 3185 Bell Road, Auburn, CA 95603 from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.
