About	Lee Ralph Loffelbein died in Eureka on December 13, 2006, at the age of 55. Lee was born October 7, 1951, in Sacramento and had been a resident of Humboldt County since 1987. Lee served in the U.S. Navy aboard the USS Oriskany during the Vietnam War. He worked for Cal Trans as a heavy equipment mechanic for 31 years and enjoyed working on his computer and teaching himself Japanese. Lee is survived by his wife, Donaldene of Eureka; daughter, Elizabeth Loffelbein of Eureka; son, Gerald D. Loffelbein of Sacramento; father and mother, Gerald W. and Corrine M. Loffelbein of Eureka; sister, Linda Loffelbein of Eureka; and by his grandchildren, Thorra Ulrich, Sunny Price and Valden Price. Private memorial service were held.
