Army, 20+ Years
Lieutenant Colonel Christopher E. West is a native of Memphis, TN and also a Distinguished Military Graduate of the Reserve Officers' Training Corps at the University of Memphis. He has served as a Fire Direction Officer, as an assistant battalion S4 (Supply) in the Republic of Korea, and as a Company Executive Officer at Fort Jackson, S.C.. He also has served as a Battalion S2 (Intelligence), as Headquarters and Headquarters Company Commander in Memphis, as an Army Recruting Command Advertising & Public Affairs Project Officer at Fort Knox, Kentucky, as a Public Affairs Officer with the 10th Mountain Division (Afghanistan), as the Secretary of the General Staff for the 63rd Regional Readiness Command in Los Alamitos, CA; Chief of Public Affairs for the 316th Expeditionary Sustainment Command in Balad, Iraq; as Chief of Executive Communications and Principal Speechwriter in the Office of the Chief, Army Reserve at the Pentagon in Washington, D.C. He currently serves as a Military Public Affairs Planner and Strategic Communications Chief in the Office of the Chief of Public Affairs, Headquarters, Department of the Army in Washington, D.C.
