Shaun Spencer Fitzgerald
Class of 2010

Shaun S. Fitzgerald, a 2010 graduate of Carson High School, recently graduated the Leader’s Training Course (LTC), United States Army. LTC is the premier leadership program of its kind in the United States. Conducted at Fort Knox, Kentucky, cadets gain an experience that runs the gamut of Army life and the responsibilities of being an officer. LTC cadets’ leadership responsibilities undergo testing under simulated combat scenarios in field training exercises and on urban-based squad tactics missions. Graduates have gone on to lead America’s sons and daughters in fighting to preserve American democracy and freedoms.
Following LTC graduation, the United States Army announced that Shaun is to receive a full two-year college scholarship. Shaun is in his junior year at Florida State University. He is completing a double major in Political Science and Military Science.
