Pastor Robert Matthews was a very gifted individual. At a young age, he began playing piano at his church in Ozark. His talents also included playing trumpet in the CHS marching band, being a recipient of the Phillip Susa Award, lead trumpet player in the Troy State marching band, and was called to preach at the age of 19. His kind and loving personality will be missed by all.
