Lieutenant Colonel (LtCol/O-5), USMC (Retired). Served more than 30 years on active duty including two tours in Vietnam 1967-1968 and 1970-1971. Involved in the Vietnam Conflict a third time in 1975 while embarked aboard ship during refugee evacuation operations. Meritoriously promoted to Gunnery Sergeant (E-7) during a second tour as a Drill Instructor at Parris Island, SC; selected for Warrant Officer and eventually promoted to the rank of LtCol, as a Limited Duty Officer. Has worked for the U.S. government since retirement.
