About Me	Fifty and trying to regain my youth… LOL Last relationship lasted 6.5 years; wasn't great but I tried to make it work for as long as I could. Learned quite a few things about myself and have since moved on. I suppose it doesn't matter how young or old a person is, maturity and wisdom are something you have to be open and willing to step into. I've met younger guys who were sweet, mature and thoughtful and men of a more mature age who never grew up or are still playing mind games. What does that mean? Simple, you cannot judge a book by its cover. Hobbies include taking to the water on my Sea Doo and camping, hiking along a nice trail, sunsets and sunrises, quiet evenings at home and gathering together with good friends. I enjoy cuddling up with somebody special while watching a good movie or getting out of the house to see the town. I enjoy writing but can be a bit long-winded on occasion (okay, often!) – I also enjoy writing poetry from time to time. Have a love for digital photography and playing with both, Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop. I'm a bit selective when it comes to friends. Honesty and a sense of fair-mindedness are high on my list of requirements in a friend. The world we live in today is much different than it may have been forty or 80 years ago but, basically, I'm not interested in hanging out with people who are shallow or disingenuous. Just be yourself and treat people right; I'll love you for that! Honesty, above all other traits, is one of the most important qualities in a person -- one that I treasure.
