About Me	I was born in Germany (Bavaria) and we emigrated to the US in the early 1950's. My father was in the German Army during WW II and we eventually wound up settling in Philadelphia (lawndale area) after arriving in the US. I went to Presentation BVM elementary school in Cheltenham and to Cardinal Dougherty high school in Philly. Rather than be drafted at the time, I, along with several other friends, enlisted in the Marines in 1967 and eventually wound up in VietNam during that conflict. I went on to make the Marines a career - having served 26 years of active duty. I retired from the Marines in 1993 (I was in Milwaukee Wisconsin at the time) and then we permanently relocated to the central North Carolina region where I went back to school (NC State University) and secured my BS in Natural Resources and Parks Management - summa cum laude. I worked as a Parks Manager and Lake Warden at Lake Wheeler Park, Raleigh, NC for 8 years. I then obtained my real estate brokers license and began selling new construction homes for various builders. I've since fully retired and am an avid physical fitness enthusiast and photographer. I'm one of several official photographers for the NC State Legislature and various conservative organizations throughout the state.
