PRICE-Our loving daughter, sister, aunt and mother, Tracy Lynn Vuksinick Wood, age 57, passed peacefully on October 13, 2019, after a battle with a long illness.
She was born on May 9, 1962, in Price, Utah to Norman L. and Arlene Reva Vuksinick.
Tracy was a longtime resident of the area and a graduate of Carbon High School Class of 1980. After graduation she attended nursing school at the College of Eastern Utah where she graduated as a Registered Nurse in 1983. Tracy worked at Castleview Hospital where she touched the lives of many. After her nursing career, she pursued her dream to work as a police officer and became a correction officer for the Carbon County Sheriff Office. Unfortunately, after an injury, she was forced to retire.
In 1995, she married Tommy Wood and became a mother to his two children whom she loved dearly. Tommy and Tracy later divorced.
Tracy always had the backs of her loved one’s and she would do anything for anyone. She enjoyed hunting, shooting guns and watching NASCAR. She loved her Dale Jr.! Tracy loved going with her brother for ride-alongs in Emery County and spending quality time with her niece and nephews. Tracy’s fiery personality will be dearly missed.
