Rick was a lifelong resident of Carbon County and was employed with Trees Inc. as a foreman. He was a
former longtime employee of Plateau Mining Company.
Rick's greatest love was for his family, especially his children and grandchildren. He loved the outdoors
and enjoyed hunting and fishing with family and friends. He enjoyed farming and took great pride in
caring for his horses. Rick will always be remembered for his keen sense of humor and practical jokes that
he played on everyone.
Survived by wife, Lisa Olsen; two sons and two daughters, Ricky Olsen, Rachelle Hiefner, Cody Olsen,
Courtney Olsen, all of Wellington; mother, Alice Olsen; three brothers, Joe Olsen, Don (Teresa) Olsen,
Shawn (Jana) Olsen, all of Price; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Fred (Virginia) Noyes, Price; brother-in-
law, Kip (Tamara) Noyes, South Jordan; daughter-in-law, Erin Olsen, Price; grandmother, Annie Bryan,
Price; five loving grandchildren; and numerous caring aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. He was
preceded in death by father, Rolland "Sonny" Olsen; and grandparents.
Interment, Wellington City Cemetery.
