Ruth Ann Dinkelman
Wellington - Ruth Ann Dinkelman, seventh child born to Clemont and Leora Atwood, January 24, 1962, returned to her Heavenly Father Thursday, Feb. 26, 1998, following injuries sustained in an automobile accident.

Ruth Ann was an active member of the LDS Church. She especially loved her calling as chorister with her primary children. Ruth Ann had a vibrant personality and enjoyed laughing, having fun and shopping with her sisters.

All who knew her would come away smiling or laughing. In addition to being a great homemaker, Ruth Ann had also become an accomplished office manager at a local home health agency doing what she loved in helping those in need.

She leaves behind her beloved husband, Jay (37), of 16 years, sealed in the Manti LDS Temple March 28, 1981; and four loved children, Christopher (15), Cassandra (14), Tyler (11), and Bryce (10). She is also survived by many extended family members too numerous to name that she loved so deeply. Brothers: Ronald Clemont, Brent Cloye, Gary Antone, Bruce Lee,

The following family members, who preceded her in death, welcomed Ruth Ann with open arms; her mother, Leora Atwood; her father, Clemont Atwood (3/22/1922-2/20/1998; her stepmother, Marcella Van Winkle Atwood (05/08/1935-02/20/1998); her sisters, Karen Kay Jewkes (12/25/1942-02/20/1998) and Cleora Mae Clark (08/15/1947-02/20/1998); and brother-in-law, Joe Jewkes Jr (12/13/39-02/20/1998). Their family went on vacation on a cruise. On their way back home, their Motor Home was in a fatal accident killing Ruth Ann's father, stepmother, two siblings and a brother-in-law. It was a very tragic day for the Atwood family. Ruth Ann succumbed to her injuries six days later.

Services for Ruth Ann were conducted Thursday, March 5, at the Wellington 1st LDS Ward. Fausett Mortuary handled arrangements. Burial, Wellington City Cemetery.
