| About Me | I am a regional group leader for Soaring Spirits International (www.sslf.org). I was widowed on Sept 25, 2011 after being married to Diona Parish for 14 years. 10 weeks after my wife died, I had a Near Death Experience. I did cross over for a short time where I was reunited with my wife. I was given 4 very distinct reasons why I needed to return as my life's mission was not yet complete. My NDE was a brain aneurysm (undiagnosed) that burst while I was driving to work on Dec 8, 2011. The fact I was able to exit the freeway, call 911 for help and coast my car to a parking lot safely while having very little vision and no hearing left was a miracle in itself. The pain in my head was excruciating UNTIL I crossed over. I now know what it feels like to transition. There is no fear of dying any longer. I also know what its like to experience total awareness of existing though technically you are unconscious. I also know what its like to go from being surrounded by total and unconditional love without any pain to being instantly thrust back into one's body with all the pain sensations rushing back in. I have no other memory about that day save for being told I had suffered a brain bleed and needed to be transferred to a better equipped hospital to save my life. Recovery has been slow, yet from the outside, you would never realize that I had any traumatic brain injury. With all that said, I have to say I am very blessed to have found love again.
