Class of 2000
Air Force, 10 Years
Joined the military right after graduating. Spent 10 years in Idaho and traveling the world. Then got out and then did another 6 years as a private contractor in Afghanistan and Iraq.

Jerry Cox
Class of 1982
Navy, 14 Years
5 1/2 years active duty, another 8 in reserves. Was the Ordnance Officer on USS Mahlon S. Tisdale (FFG-27) for first tour and then Officer in Charge of Assault Craft Unit 5, Detachment Bravo for second tour which included a stint in the first Gulf War/Desert Storm. After Desert Storm left active duty for the reserves.
Finished up as a Lieutenant Commander, Surface Warfare.

Navy, 14 Years

Operation Iraqi Freedom/ Iraqi Campaign service 2004-2005...during 8 year career traveled to 4 continents performing an array of duties from helicopter technician to logistics coordinating and ground navagation to joint task force anti-drug seizure operations along the US/Mexico and US/Canada borders and various locations within Continental North America with the US Forest Service, DEA and the Department of the Interior.
