Gold ring with royal blue stone. Class of 77. I think it had my initals inside of the ring.

My name is Robert Hurst, I posted a "found class ring" message previously and said the ring was class of 1928.
Evidently, since the school was founded in 1969......closer inspection of the date shows it to be, more likely, 1978.

My name is Robert Hurst, from Kansas City, MO. My father owned a KC Pawn shop for many years. It closed some time ago and I was looking through a few items that were in storage at his home following his death last year. One item is a 10K class ring with a blue gem stone. Cape Fear (NC) High class of 1928, inscribed to Karen D. Carter. I thought someone from her family might like it as a family keepsake. Any suggestions on locating the family would be appreciated.
