About Me	While working as a Lab Tech at SMI in 1964 I was drafted into the U.S. Army. Ultimately I retired with 22 years of military active duty service with the rank of Chief Warrant Officer - 4. My overseas tours consisted of two tours in Germany (5 years total) and two tours (one year each) in Viet Nam. I flew UH-1 Hueys the first tour and AH-1 Cobras the second tour. My primary duty was that of a Helicopter Aircraft Maintenance Test Pilot and Maintenance Test Pilot Examiner. I enjoyed traveling while in the service consisting of places such as Australia, Taiwan, all over Europe and Hawaii. After retiring from the Military I was employed as a Realtor for four years and then returned to aviation with DynCorp Aerospace Operations at Ft. Hood. After 11 years with them, I retired in 2000. Retirement has allowed us to enjoy our "Golden Years". Luckily all children and grandchildren live in the N.B. area. Due to Sue's health we are not able to continue doing all that we previously enjoyed. I continue to enjoy family, good friends, fishing, hunting and my collector cars. I have been associated with our local Habitat for Humanity for the last eight years and have served on the Board of Directors for the past four years. Since 1960 the years have been good, the experiences great and regrets there are none. I certainly could not ask for more. Living life as I have has made me realize how precious and fleeting life really is. We have been blessed with wonderful friends and family that has enriched our lives with great memories.
