David passed away from Acquired Immunodeficiency syndrome Orange Coast College Professor Irini Vallera-Rickerson does an annual "Art and Architecture around the World" lecture and proceeds go to different organizations. It also supports two scholarships. One of these scholarships is named after and in honor of David Torosian. The professor first began this benefit after David passed away
