About Me	I'm a teacher. After graduate school, I taught undergraduate biology courses for several years, then spent a few years working with college and medical school faculty on their teaching. Until 2017 I was teaching biology and science education courses to preservice and inservice teachers. I think a big contribution is bringing problem based learning (PBL) methods (uses realistic stories to start learning)from the medical school into college and high school science settings by writing a book of biology cases (Biological Inquiry, now in sixth edition) and by doing lots of instructor workshops on PBL in the US and...(read more)
