About Me	____Life_______________________________ In a discussion about change, I once heard that on average, people will have three career changes in their lifetime. (Professional Basketball Player; Case Manager; EEO Counselor; Human Resources & Administration; Employment Specialist; and Sports Coach) Well, I've put in my three, and then some, so I've opted for early retirement. I am very appreciative for the opportunity to be full time mom, fiber artisan, athlete, Sunday school teacher, community volunteer, amateur photographer and landscape designer. Maybe I'm not so 'retired', but it sure is nice to call the shots on the when, and the where, in which I devote my time, energy, and passion. At a young age I was able to realize some of my lifetime dreams to travel the world, by playing and coaching basketball. Along the way, I met many wonderful folks who mentored and befriended me. The shared memories of fun times, life's lessons, and seeing the world will never escape me. Yet I have been caught, like so many others, in life's whirlwind with the names, faces, and places lying scattered in my mental attic. Life has blessed me and hardened me ~ my haters are my motivators. I am still quiet, but not so shy; sweet, but not so naive; patient, but not so tolerant; soulful, yet not sold out.
