About	Alice Shenk McClure, 66, recently of Sedona, AZ passed away May 15, 2011, from a prolonged fight with "Valley Fever", a soil born disease found in the southwestern United States. Alice grew up in Camp Hill, PA, graduated from Camp Hill High School and Gettysburg College, where she earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Biology. She lived in Montclair, New Jersey, San Franciso, California, Mechanicsburg, PA, and Sedona, AZ, the course of a lifetime filled with a love of the outdoors and natural beauty, whether it was in the expanse of the great West of her love of Pennsylvania, which always brought her home. She enjoyed solitude with her many animals, was an avid gardener, a golfer, and loved spending time with family and friends. Music was always in her background, and as a young girl she was an accomplished pianist. Alice was proceeded in death by her parents Bill and Charlotte McClure, and is survived by her brothers, Bob McClure, of Shiremanstown, PA and Bill McClure of Jackson, Wyoming, four nieces, two great nieces and two great nephews. A memorial service in her honor will be held at Trinity Lutheran Church, Camp Hill, on Friday, May 27, at 11:00 AM. Burial will be at the convenience of the family. Pastor Loren Roberts will conduct the service and funeral arrangements are being handled by David M. Myers Funeral Home of Newport, PA. In lieu of flowers Alice has requested donations be made to the Humane Society of Harrisburg Area, 7790 Grayson Rd., Harrisburg, PA 17111.
