About	Jean Urey Turner Evans Gorsuch, 72, of Toledo, passed away January 23, 2017 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio. Jean was born May 30, 1944 in Harrisburg, PA to Ralph and Jean Evans. She attended Camp Hill High School and then became a “blue devil” when she attended Duke University. After graduating with her BSN, she served in the Navy where she met her husband, George. She then spent many years traveling the world with her husband supporting his career as he later made medical flag officer. After the Navy, she became a mother and homemaker. Jean and George spent much of their retirement years traveling locally, enjoying local theater both in Toledo and in the surrounding communities. Her passion, besides her family, were her Duke Blue Devils and Coach K, enjoying many years of March Madness rooting Duke on through the tournament. Jean passed away quietly after complications with pancreatic cancer. Left to cherish her memory are her children, Gretchen Voorhees, Gregory Gorsuch (Amy), Geoffrey Gorsuch and Emily Gorsuch (Paula); grandchildren, Katy Gorsuch (Abe Fu), Calvin Gorsuch (Carissa), Alex Voorhees and Eric Voorhees. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Abby Kate Gorsuch. Private arrangements were entrusted to Reeb Funeral Home, Sylvania, OH, per Jean's wishes.
