| Favorite School Memory | Using the payphone in the hallway to call the main office and tell the secretary (Mrs. Simington?) that I was from the Camden National Bank and needed to speak to Ms. Vautour, then sneaking back to class while she was out, to herd everyone outside and hide under her window and watch her reaction while she read "April Fools" on her blackboard when she returned. If you remember Ms. Vautour - she was not amused! // Sneaking into the school at night and shooting hoops with the '74 State Championship ball from the trophy case. // Frank Stearns' 18th Birthday Party - didn't we go to another party at Mary Ella's that night? Man, what a blowout that was! // Completely dunking Keryn Laite into the circular sink in the bathroom only to have him tell Mr. Palmer - what a wimp Keryn!. Thank goodness Don was the soccer coach or we were looking at suspension. // Senior Year - Variety show at the Opera House (memorable for reasons unspoken and forever untold - but it was great!) // Having one of the Appleton boys bring a dead chicken to school and then placing it in the heater in study hall. // Putting Donny Ames' Pinto wagon on blocks so he couldn't drive it. // Letting the sheep out of the pen in front of St. Thomas' Episcopal Church duirng the Christmas live nativity and then hiding and watc...(read more) |
