About Me	Worked as a hairdresses in Grandville for 4 years, went to Junior College for LPN, worked at Blodgett Hospital, then thru a friend I met Jerry Baarspul a guy from Portland, Or. I moved to Portland in Nov, 1979 to get to know Jerry better, I worked at a Oral Surgeons Office and then at Tuality Hospital. We got married Nov. 1980 In 1985 we adopted our beautiful daughter Tina at 5 days old and then again in April of 1988 we adopted our wonderful son Trent he was 91/2 mos. They are gifts from God! Jerry was a civil engineer in both the private and public sector. In 2007 we bought a RV and did a HFH build and decided that we were going to figure out what we needed to do in order to retire early. So in June of 2007 I retired and volunteered at Love Inc. Beaverton, Or. Then in January, 2008 Jerry retired and we took a 5 mo. trip around the US mixing vacation, visiting family and volunteering for HFH and CRWRC, and then again in October of 2009 we did another 5 month trip of pleasure and volunteering for HFH and at Rehobeth in New Mexico. We are now back home Jerry started his own consulting business and I am excited to be back volunteering at Love In the Name of Christ. Our daughter Tina is currently in sales in Florida and Trent is in St. Paul, MN. almost finished getting a Degree in Guitar Performance.
