First combat deployment was in Panama during operation JUST CAUSE in 1989. Commissioned as a 2LT in the Aviation branch of the United States Army in 1996. Served in multiple roles as an Army officer during his 32 career to include assignment to the Pentagon as a Lieutenant Colonel and culminating with three combat deployments to Afghanistan and the award of two Bronze Star medals for action in combat.
