Completed basic training at RTC Orlando, Fla. and Signalman "A" School at NTC Orlando, Fla. Stationed aboard USS Lake Champlain (CG-57) in San Diego, CA for 3 years. Finished active duty and join reserves in 1998. Currently attached to Naval Operational Support Center Meridian, Miss.

Commissioned as a Medical Service Corps Officer in the US Army after college graduation. Trained Army medics worldwide. Stationed in Germany and Korea. Visited countries around the world. Stationed in Seattle, Chicago, Dallas, Atlanta, San Antonio, Salt Lake City, Alabama and Louisiana in the states. Served as Platoon Leader in the 5th Infantry Div, as a Company commander in the 3rd Infantry Div, Medical Logistics Officer in a Combat Support Hospital in Germany, as the Director of Logistics of the Army aeromedical Center at Fort Rucker, and managed a team of Army Medical Recruiters for the states of Washington, Alaska, Idaho, Oregon and Montana with offices in Seattle, Spokane and Portland. Retired after 27 years of active duty.
