Dec 2010 graduated from college and commissioned as a 2nd Lt. in the regular Army
As of May still enlisted and a Captain in the Army and currently deployed (whereabouts cannot be devulged)

Worked with munitions systems after tech school in Denver Colorado. Stationed overseas for six and a half out of the ten years served. Got out of the service after Desert Storm to settle down and raise a family.

Started with MO National Guard and then switched to Army/Army Reserves. Commissioned officer branched in Engineers/Sapper and then switched to Special Operational Forces. Three tours to Iraq (March 2003 to August 2005), OIF-Transahal (Oct 2007 - June 2014). Retired in 2014.

After graduation and fooling around the summer of 1961, I joined the Air Force on September 6th. My duty stations in order were Altus AFB, Oklahoma, Bien Hoa AB, Vietnam (1966-67), Richards-Gebaur AFB, Missouri, Hq Air Defense Command, Colorado Springs, Colorado (1968-72), back to Richards-Gebaur AFB (1972-1976), Elmendorf AFB, Alaska (1976 -79), McConnell AFB, Kansas (1979-80) and finally Carswell AFB, Texas where I retired in the grade of Chief Master Sergeant (E9) on October 1, 1981. I enjoyed every minute of my service my country and would do it again. I am a life member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars, Vietnam Veterans of America, and the Air Force Sergeants Association.

I was a draft motivated enlistee.. Since I was in the last year of thew draft and my number was 3, I enlisted to get a job I wanted. After basic at Ft Leonard Wood, I went to Ft. Gordon Georgia for electronics training. After a year of school, I was sent to Camp Humphrys Korea with the Army Security Agency. After a one year tour, and a reenlistment, I was sent to Ft. Bliss at El Paso, Texas. During my time there, I went on a five month TDY trip to Sinop, Turkey. I finished my active duty with a 19 month tour of West Berlin.
