Claire Hollcraft
Class of 1981
Claire Hollcraft stared in varsity Basketball and Track earning All-EBAL status in both sports during her years at California High School.
She led her basketball team to the NCS Tournament during her Senior year and her marks in Track in the 100 & 200 meter dashes and the 1600 relay along with her best in the High Jump still rank in the top 10 at CHS more than 30 years later.
After graduating from CHS, Claire played basketball at Creighton University in Nebraska, starting as a Freshman and leading her team in both assists and steals in her first year there.
Following college Claire married and had a daughter who followed in her footsteps as a star athlete, ultimately starting in Soccer at the University of Notre Dame.
Claire now resides in Illinois working as a Manager for her local Parks District.
