Patricia Dulick stared in varsity Volleyball, Basketball and Softball earning All-EBAL status in all three sports during her years at California High School. Had she run track or had there been girl’s soccer at the time, she would have been a star in those sports as well. "Trish" won 9 varsity letters in her high school career, and it would have been 12 except that CHS did not compete in varsity sports her freshman year.

After graduating from CHS, Trish played both softball and basketball at St. Mary’s College in Moraga. While attending St. Mary’s Trish met her future husband Matt Sweeney; who ultimately became the long time head football coach at Foothill High School in Pleasanton.

Trish and Matt have had two children, Danielle and Kelly both of whom followed in their mother’s footsteps as star athletes themselves at Foothill HS. Both earned scholarships to; Danielle playing soccer at the University of Oregon and Kelly playing softball at Boise State University.

In 2005 Trish was recognized for her sporting accomplishments when she was inducted into the Tri-Valley Sports Hall of Fame. Trish and her husband reside in Pleasanton and she has spent much of her free time in the past few years supporting her daughters in their athletic endeavors. There may have been other athletes over the years at Cal High that might have been better in individual sports, but as an all-around athlete no one has come close to Trish.
