I have a man's 1974 class ring that was found sometime in the late 70's at an Orange County beach in Southern California. It has just resurfaced as I was looking through boxes. It is 10k gold with a blue stone. 1974 is on one side and Cougars is on the other. There are 3 initials inside with appear to be RAC. I searched Calhoun County Cougars and hope I have found the right school. Hopefully someone will recognize this and email me.

My91-year old father passed away recently. While going through his desk today, I found a Calhoun High School class ring with a note to "try to find owner". Upon questioning my mother, she said that he found it in a restroom while on his way to Florida several years ago (she estimates 30 years ago but this might not be accurate, since they went to Florida many different times)
I guess he did not realize that he could probably locate the owner fairly easily on the internet, or he might have forgotten all about it--at any rate it remained in his desk until I discovered it today. He never mentioned it to any of us or I would have tried to locate the owner years ago. It is a man's ring with 1902 on one side and 1970 on the other. There is a 3 initial monogram in the ring. The third initial (which I am assuming is the last name) is "B". I am not divulging the first two initials until I make sure that I have the right person and the right school. The stone is amber in color and has gold letters embossed on it. There are other Calhoun High Schools in other states, but I think this is probably the correct one, since my parents would have traveled through Georgia in order to get to Florida from Kentucky, where we live.
I tried to search the yearbook for 1970, but it appears as though only alumni and faculty are allowed to register. If anyone could shed some light on this little mystery, I would love for the ring to get back to its rightful owner!
