I joined August 1985-1987,joined together with my husband at the time(wayde Collins). Did basic at south Carolina,school for 31-Charlie,communications,stationed together at Ft Lewis,WA. Wayde Collins,is a wonderful friend,husband,and father,and I'm thankful I had the pleasure of being his wife,18 yrs. This man served our country with pride and is a decorated War Veteran, many thanks to him and all our combat vets,Wayde Collins,graduated Cabot high in 1983,salute my old friend,Beth Moll/Collins.

Basic infantry training, . a.i.t. and airborne school at Ft. Benning, GA. Was then stationed at Fort Bragg, NC in the 82nd airborne Division. Served in Operations Desert Shield/Storm. Deployed to Italy; Egypt; Panama; Jordan; Oman and probaly some others I've forgotten about.

Baker, 34, of Cabot, Ark., died Oct. 13 at the U.S. Army''s hospital at Landstuhl, Germany, less than a week after he was severely wounded by an improvised explosive device in Iraq. He was based in Lonoke, Ark. He is survived by his wife, Joanne, and their 7-year-old daughter, Alexis. Baker joined the National Guard after the Sept. 11, 2001, terrorist attacks and had volunteered as a gunner for the supply mission in which he was killed.
