About	Gena was married to Eric Pertee from Barboursville for @ ten years. She then married Kevin McCarty - married for 5 years. She had one son Jax - born 12/31/05 who lives in Boone County with his father. Her parents still live in Milton. Her sister Kim (class of '84) lives in Milton also. She had an Associates Degree in Applied Science from Marshall and was a certified phlebotomist. She was finishing her last required class in nursing school. She had worked as a medical secretary, office manager, and at St. Mary's Medical Center in the lab and unit clerk in the ER.
