I want to give special thanks to my wonderful husband, Chuck and my beautiful family of in-laws. To our auntie Jeanette Myers and cousins Cynthia, Janice, Brenda, Reggie, Regina and the Kelly and Goodwin family for always being there with your kinship. And a special thanks to our child-hood, life-time friends, class-mates and family members who always demonstrated real friendship and kindness towards our brother: Best friends; Aaron, Trent, Shanda and Christine Dash, Gregg Washington, Chuck Aiken, Anthony Crawford, Drenon “Big D” Everett, Regina Kenly-Strother, Don Lucas, Kevin “KP” Parker, George, Calvin and Anita Sligh, Ronald Tillman, Meritha Werts-Bell, Gladys Felder, Luther G., Richard “Butch” Goddard, II, coaches: Zeke Williams & C. A. Johnson teachers and staff, Fort Valley State Wildcats Football Team, Coach Porter and Clestine “Tree” Harley, and a host of others. You are all indeed, family. Amp was a kind soul who loved everyone and never uttered a curse or unkind word. He also accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior. We love and miss you dear brother. May you rest in peace.
P.S. Thanks to Fort Valley State University for honoring Amp during the 2019 Homecoming game against Morehouse, by retiring his #66 football jersey. He would have been proud.
